Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Olympia Field, Illinois.

Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse role with 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, in a fast-paced ER. You will deliver high-quality care, assess and treat emergencies, and collaborate with physicians while floating as needed between units.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute or critical care.
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice
• Guide patient/family teaching
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient’s clinical condition, hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptomatology
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient status; maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
