The role requires adaptability to float within the same discipline across local campuses and adherence to clinical and operational protocols.Job Details:Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per weekRequired Qualifications: Active BLS (American Heart Association preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted), Active ACLS (American Heart Association preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted), Active PALS (American Heart Association preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted), TNCC certification, Iowa State License, Drivers License, 1+ years of experience (first-time travelers eligible)Preferred Qualifications: Specific skills and work history in Emergency Room setting, supervisory reference within last two yearsFloat: Float rotation may be required within the same discipline across local campusesAdditional Information: The assignment involves 16 hours of NBO with electronic medical records in EPIC, holiday pay at 1.15x multiplier, callback pay at 1.5x multiplier with a 2-hour minimum, and on-call at $9/hour. OT is billable after 48 hours per week, with billable overtime after 36 hours. Orientation sessions are scheduled for 10/12 and 10/26.
