Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in McKinney, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a 37-bed Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will be able to start ASAP, demonstrate Meditech experience, and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment. The assignment covers night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week scheduled from September 14, 2026, to December 14, 2026.

Required Qualifications

Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications; current Emergency Room registered nurse license; experience with Meditech electronic medical record system; 0 or more years of experience; located in or willing to commute to McKinney, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with HCA or Meditech systems, quick start capability, and minimal PTO requests.

Float

Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information

Candidates should possess high energy, self-motivated, and amicable personalities suited for high-caliber patient experience skills. The unit operates with a team of 73 FTE staff, including charge nurses, RNs, techs, and paramedics, with patient ratios of 1:4 in zone. The dress code is royal blue scrubs. The unit follows specific policies and guidelines, which are available upon request. Candidates are expected to work four weekend shifts within a four-week period and have no scheduled on-call duties.
