TalentBurst is seeking a Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Kingwood, TX. The role features a night shift (06:00 PM–06:00 AM) with 12-hour shifts, onsite in a busy ED, and multiple offsite pediatric and freestanding ER locations.

Qualifications

• Must have IV skills, EKG skills, and triage acuity training.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care in the Emergency Department including IV placement and monitoring.
• Conduct EKGs and assist with patient triage and acuity assessments.
• Support labs and procedures such as flu/swabs, IV access, and basic patient care tasks.

Number of Beds -9
Number of Staff – 3 RN per shift with 1 mid shift RN/tech
Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 3 RNs
o Mid shift- 1 RN/tech
o Night Shift - 3 RN
Patient Ratios – 4 to 1 based on acuity, 1 to 1 if needed for acuity
Type of equipment - IV pumps, POC lab machines-Sysmex XP 300, Piccolo, Alere, Clinitek, Sofia, EPOC, Novastat glucometer, MACVU360 EKG machine
EMR – Meditech Expanse
