Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments.
Evaluate, triage, and implement patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment. Perform medical procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and minor operations. Document medical histories, monitor vital signs, and advise patients and families on illnesses and injuries. Maintain supplies and equipment, and report suspected abuse. Provide compassionate bedside care, support patients emotionally and physically, and assist with long-term care planning.
1-2 years recent acute care experience, current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications, and additional certifications as required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong stress management skills and excellent interpersonal abilities across diverse patient populations.
