HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide critical care to Emergency Room patients in Tucson, Arizona. The position requires a minimum of 2 years experience and ACLS certification, offering additional compensation for charge nurse experience.

The role includes night shifts (7 PM to 7:30 AM) and maintains a nursing process in accordance with state regulations. Candidates should demonstrate leadership and critical thinking in patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Registered Nurse responsible for providing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty (Emergency Department).
• Preferred charge nurse experience (additional compensation).
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system required.

Schedule Information

• Night shift: 7 PM to 7:30 AM, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (3x12s).
• 36 hours per week.
• Start requested within 2 weeks of offer acceptance.

Unit Specific Information

• Emergency Department unit.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.

Facility Information

• Facility has 38 beds.
• Stroke Receiving Center.
• STEMI Receiving Center.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is recommended but not required.
