Access Healthcare LLC is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Port Huron, Michigan. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts for a duration of 9 weeks. Location: Port Huron, Michigan. Travel nurse RN ED – Emergency Department. Duration: 9 weeks. 36 hours per week. 12‑hour night shift.
Lake Huron Medical Center (1) full time – 12 hour night shift RN1. Current and valid state RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS. NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred. COVID vaccination/boosters preferred. BVP (MAB) training.
Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse is responsible for safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation; provides direct patient care within scope of practice; directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry; is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to patients; communicates with physicians regarding clinical changes; responds quickly to changes or treatment responses; is knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of abuse; maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
