Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for the Emergency Department in Tucson, AZ. This assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour nights. Start ASAP and is a true travel position without local travelers accepted within 50 miles.

The ideal candidate holds an active AZ or compact RN license with at least 1 year of ER experience, and certifications that remain valid through day 30 of the contract. Documentation of a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ER experience.
• Active AZ or compact RN license required.
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of the contract.
• No 90-day gaps in work history within the past 12 months.
• CHS staff in past 2 years are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
• RTO (requested time off) is limited to less than one week
• Candidates must be able to provide documentation of an active driver’s license for consideration
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of the shift rotation

• Required certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the contract
• Must have no gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
