Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years acute care emergency experience and specialized certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (19:00-07:00)
• Patient population includes acute care emergency cases in a department of at least 30 beds
• Floating required to other areas and sister facilities within 75 miles as needed
• Uses Epic for charting
• Must be willing to float to any area within scope, including other facilities within a 75-mile radius
• RTO requests must not exceed 5 days during the contract and no holiday time off can be requested
• No block scheduling accommodated
• Completion of specialty and orientation modules required during onboarding
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Scrub or dress code details to be provided during onboarding

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience in an acute care setting with at least 30 beds
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and ESI
• Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a recent utility bill (within 3 months) with matching address more than 75 miles from facility required
• No license or background issues accepted
• Must have two supervisory references
• Separation of at least 1 year required for former employees of the system
• Pending state license is not accepted
