Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the electrophysiology lab through technical support to the cardiac catheterization and EP team
• Use imaging equipment to help the doctor detect and treat heart and blood vessel issues in the patient
• Execute noninvasive procedures
• Review patient history and verify medical order
• Evaluate images for quality and ensure relevant area is included
• Identify differences between normal and abnormal images
• Communicate image results to the doctor
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Electrophysiology Labs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain an environment of excellence, patient-focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly
