Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The EP Tech will support the EP lab and cath lab team, performing imaging-assisted procedures and patient documentation.

Requirements include a current license and specialty certifications; 18 months EP lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting. Travel benefits and housing support are offered.

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing is required.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials are required.
• Eighteen months of EP Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the electrophysiology lab through technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization and EP team.
• Use imaging equipment to help the doctor detect and treat heart and blood vessel issues.
• Review the patient’s history and verify the medical order.
• Evaluate images for quality and ensure the area of interest is included.
• Assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Electrophysiology Labs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
