Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling EP RN for a contract assignment in Burlington, VT. The Electrophysiology RN will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures for patients with electrical conduction problems, using critical care skills to ensure safe patient care.

Emphasis on autonomy and high-level decision-making within a professional environment. The role involves a 13-week temporary assignment with a 4x10 shift pattern and requires a current state license, ACLS, and CCRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State Nursing License
• AHA ACLS Provider Certification within 12 months of employment
• CCRN preferred
• Experience with high acuity CCU/ICU/ER patients preferred
• Demonstrate effective communication and social skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Supervise care by professional and ancillary staff.
• Assess educational needs of patient and family for discharge.
• Coordinate nursing plan with medical plan with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and ongoing professional development.
• Support quality assurance with nursing team
