Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED in Clyde, North Carolina. This travel assignment is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour evening shifts in the Emergency Department.

The role requires an active RN license, an accredited nursing degree, and 18 months of acute ER experience; BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required. Benefits and housing options are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess, interven and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action
• Provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions
