Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a travel nurse RN Float ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in New Hampton, Iowa. The role requires floating across hospital units with 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and premium pay.

Start ASAP for a 13-week assignment at MercyOne New Hampton Medical Center, IA. Qualifications include RN license in the applicable state(s), 18 months experience for most areas and 2 years for ED, Critical Care, and related specialties.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Emergency Department.
• Credentials per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations/regions.
• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Act independently and appropriately within license and scope of practice.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Be adaptable and willing to take on new responsibilities.
