Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Emergency Department RN for a 12-hour night shift contract in Georgia. The role requires a GA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent ED experience, plus BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.

The position features a 7PM–7AM schedule, 36 hours per week across three shifts, no on-call, and benefits including housing support and travel/licensure reimbursement. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles away.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Emergency Services (ED) unit setting.
• 12-hour night shifts, schedule varies between 7PM-7AM.
• 3 shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours weekly.
• No on-call requirements.
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered.
• Former permanent staff must wait 2 years before returning as a non-local traveler.
• RTO must be requested prior to accepting an offer and cannot be requested afterward.
