Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This Level I trauma setting offers a 13-week assignment with 4x12 hour night shifts, and potential float to related units. Tub-based pay includes weekly stipends and travel reimbursements, with comprehensive benefits.

Required NM or compact RN license, TNCC/ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications, and 2+ years of ER experience. NIHSS possible, and vaccination is required unless exempt.

Qualifications

• Active NM or compact RN license
• 2+ years ER nursing experience
• TNCC/ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications
• NIHSS certification can be obtained before compliance date
• COVID vaccination required unless exemption
• Reside more than 75 miles from hospital

Responsibilities

• Work in Level I Trauma ED, potential float to Pedi ED and other units
• Night shifts with 36 or 48 hours per week (4x12 hour shifts, 19:00–07:30)
• Maintain patient ratios: 1:5 in the ED
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and clinical documentation
• No on-call requirements
