Job summary

PEL/VIP has an opening for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in our Emergency Department travel program in Winston-Salem, NC. This Level 1 Trauma Center assignment covers 12 weeks, with 3 shifts of 12 hours each (nights), totaling 36 hours weekly.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in a similar ED setting, plus BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications. Epic charting is used for documentation, and a tax-free stipend is negotiable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a similar ED setting.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications are required.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred for travelers.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and ensure an excellent patient experience.
