Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel RN for the Emergency Department in Highlands, North Carolina. You will provide top‑level nursing care in a fast‑paced ER environment on 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13‑week assignment.

Requires active RN license, accredited nursing degree, and 18 months of recent ER experience. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required depending on the facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
• Provide care for patients from various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
