Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 14-week traveler position in Woodbridge, VA. The role requires an RN eligible to practice in VA with ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and at least 2 years of recent ED bedside experience. Shifts run 12 hours, 3PM–3AM, every other weekend with a swing shift pattern.

This is a primary position with a $75/hr pay rate and no guaranteed benefits. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS and EPIC user experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required or strongly preferred.
• AT LEAST 2 years of recent bedside acute care in Emergency Department as an RN.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Demonstrate professional performance including ethics, communication, and education.
