SpecialtyCare is seeking an ECMO Specialist to operate and maintain ECMO circuits for patients requiring long-term pulmonary and/or cardiopulmonary support. You will work under physician supervision and clinical orders to ensure safe, effective ECMO care.

Qualified candidates include RN with active license, RT with RRT, and Perfusionist credentials (CCP). Expect a collaborative environment with a strong safety culture and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN with active nursing license.
• RT with degree and RRT certification.
• Perfusion degree with CCP certification or equivalent.
• Solid ECMO therapy knowledge including circuit, pump, and monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Assist physician, perfusionist and staff with ECMO initiation and management.
• Demonstrate safety by proper hand-off of ECMO care and circuit status.
• Examine the circuit for integrity and plan care with the team.
• Maintain ECMO circuit continuity and reduce circuit-risk during handling.
• Monitor blood values and adjust anticoagulation and infusions per guidelines.
