Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist to join a busy echocardiography lab in Portland, Maine. The position involves performing transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms in a high-volume inpatient setting within a Level I trauma hospital.

You will utilize 3D echocardiography and strain imaging, while maintaining strict lab standards and patient-focused care in a fast-paced environment. Travel compensation and full benefits are provided through ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of echocardiography experience.
• At least 2 years of acute inpatient echo experience in a Level I trauma facility.
• Proficiency in a wide range of echocardiography procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of complex cardiac anatomy and pathology.
• Commitment to maintaining healthcare standards and quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Perform 7-8 echocardiograms per day, including transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Utilize 3D echo and strain imaging appropriately.
• Maintain strict adherence to lab standards and protocols for consistency and diagnostic accuracy.
• Optimize image quality using meticulous scanning techniques and effective equipment settings.
• Manage high-volume workflows in a critical care environment while ensuring superior diagnostic quality.
• Provide exceptional patient care and clear communication throughout procedures.
• Participate in case reviews, feedback sessions, and collaborative teamwork to foster continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with ASE and IAC standards.
