The role requires at least 5 years of echocardiography experience, with 2 years in acute inpatient trauma-level care, and strong time-management skills. This travel position offers rotation with days, nights, and on-call duties, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of echocardiography experience.
• At least 2 years of acute inpatient echo experience in a Trauma Level I facility.
• Proficiency in a wide range of echocardiographic procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of complex cardiac anatomy and pathology.
• Strong time management skills.
• Commitment to collaborative work culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform 7-8 echocardiograms daily, including TTEs, stress echoes, and TEEs.
• Optimize image quality through meticulous scanning techniques and use of ultrasound contrast agents.
• Ensure compliance with lab standards and protocols to maintain diagnostic accuracy.
• Manage high-volume workflows in a critical care environment while maintaining quality.
• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure comfort and understanding during procedures.
• Participate in case reviews and educational opportunities with colleagues.
• Adhere to ASE and IAC standards for compliance with industry best practices.
