Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 3+ years of experience and RDCS or CCI certification for a day shift position in an echocardiography lab.

Details

• Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• Rotational weekend shifts required with negotiable holiday coverage
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Performs full range of cardiac diagnostic testing and echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures
• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Echo Tech experience
• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required
• RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• Strong task prioritization and patient flow coordination skills

Additional Information

• Oversees technical procedures, patient care, and workflows in the echocardiography laboratory
• Assists performing physicians and sonographers in delivering high-quality echocardiographic exams
• Critiques positioning, technical factors, and alignment to maintain imaging quality standards
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness
• Documents all procedures accurately and completely
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract period
