Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a Travel Echo Technician for a 12-week assignment in Cape May Courthouse, New Jersey. The role focuses on performing cardiac ultrasound tests with stress echo and transesophageal echo, following ASE and ICAEL standards.

Ability to work rotating weekends and 10-hour shifts is required. The position requires ARDMS or CCI registration and BLS certification, with EPIC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Performs cardiac ultrasound tests following ASE and ICAEL standards.
• Demonstrates full knowledge of cardiac ultrasound and the usage of digital ultrasound equipment.
• Prepares the patient and explains the procedure to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
• Navigates electronic medical records (EMR) efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Performs transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography as required.
• Maintains timely completion of scheduled tests and adheres to population-specific guidelines.
• Communicates findings clearly to interpreting physicians and maintains patient safety.

Position: Echo Tech

Schedule: M-F with rotational weekends, 9a-7:30p. 10 hour shifts
on call required (on-call rotation for weekends and holidays)

EPIC Exp Required

Certifications required: BLS, and must be registered through either ARDMS or CCI

Minimum requirements include:

• Performs cardiac ultrasound tests (including stress echo' and transesophageal echo's) in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography and complies with ICAEL standards.
• Demonstrates full knowledge of cardiac ultrasound and the usage of digital ultrasound equipment.
• Completes daily scheduled tests in the appropriate time frame and to population specific group.
• Ability to prepare the patient and explain the procedure.
• Ability to navigate through an electronic medical record.
