Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate graduate of an accredited echocardiography school.
• 2+ years of experience in a hospital environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and cardiac sonographer Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Uses non-invasive procedures to examine heart valves, chambers, and blood vessels to produce echocardiograms.
• Prepares facilities, calibrates equipment, and provides images and data to physicians for interpretation.
• Maintains patient documentation and monitors patient status during procedures.
