Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo-Vascular Technician for a 13-week assignment in Woodruff, WI. The right Echocardiogram Technologist must have 1 year of experience and hold BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS National Certification along with any required state licensing.

Responsibilities include educating patients, performing echocardiographic studies, Doppler exams, stress echo, transesophageal echo, and ensuring accurate documentation, with use of McKesson PACS.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Must have BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS National Certification and state-specific licensing when required.

• Report findings to reading physician for interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and disinfecting per procedure.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

We are looking for an Echocardiogram Technologist (Echo Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Woodruff, WI. The right Echo Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Demonstrate competence in performance of echocardiographic studies
• Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler Exams
• Acquire quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images according to Physician and benchmark standards
• Perform quality Trans esophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations
• Demonstrate an understanding of cardiac disease processes and acquired images
• Report findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation
• Perform all related processing required for each completed study
• Maintain equipment including cleaning and disinfecting according to department procedure and identifying problems with equipment and reporting appropriately
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS National Certification and state-specific licensing when required.

Echo Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Echo Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
