TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echocardiography Technologist for an assignment in Washington Court House, Ohio. The role focuses on performing echocardiograms, ensuring image quality, and delivering studies to physicians for interpretation.

The position requires at least one year of experience, BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS, and state licensure where required. Work involves a 40-hour week with 10-hour day shifts over a 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Echo Tech experience required.
• BLS certification and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS; state licensing as required.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and/or patient’s family regarding procedures performed.
• Demonstrate competence in performance of echocardiographic studies.
• Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler exams.
• Acquire quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images according to physician and benchmark standards.
• Perform quality transesophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations.
• Demonstrate an understanding of cardiac disease processes and acquired images.
• Report findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation.
• Perform all related processing required for each completed study.
• Maintain equipment including cleaning and disinfecting according to department procedure and identifying problems with equipment and reporting appropriately.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

We are looking for an Echocardiogram Technologist (Echo Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Washington Court House, OH. The right Echo Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As an Echo Tech, you will be responsible for the use of the cardiac ultrasound machine and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. Echo Techs are also responsible for the preparation of and caring for patients undergoing echocardiograms.

Tasks

As an Echo Tech, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed

Requirements

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS National Certification and state-specific licensing when required.

Echo Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Echo Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
