Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week assignment in Modesto, California. The role focuses on echo/vascular imaging, patient prep, and high-quality ultrasound examinations.

Candidates must have an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, at least 1 year of experience, and current BLS certification; a valid state ultrasound license is required. Preferred ARDMS/ARRT/CCI credentials and licensure reimbursement offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, and terminology.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate imaging into patient plans.
• Prepare and position patient for accurate imaging and comfort.
• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment for safety and readiness.
• Apply technical expertise to perform sonographic procedures.
• Maintain professionalism in fast-paced environments.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
