Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) - Echo for a 26-week assignment in Asheville, NC. You will perform echocardiography, including Doppler and 3-D imaging, to assess cardiac structure and function, and provide patient education while collaborating with physicians and the care team.

The role requires completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program and at least one year of Echo Cardiovascular Technologist experience, plus current BLS and

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• One year of recent Echo Cardiovascular Technologist experience.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in cardiac echocardiography, including Doppler and 3-D imaging.
• Maintain proficiency in operating echocardiography equipment and advanced imaging.
• Review patient history and verify orders to ensure proper examinations.
• Educate patients and families about the echocardiography procedures.
• Identify and document imaging artifacts to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain safety.
