Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Echo Technologist for a travel assignment in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The role requires 1 year of echo experience, BLS, and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification, with state-specific licensing where required.

You will operate cardiac ultrasound equipment, ensure image accuracy, and collaborate with physicians for interpretation. Responsibilities include educating patients, performing echocardiographic studies, maintaining equipment, and keeping detailed records.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Echo Tech experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• National certification (ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS) and state licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Perform echocardiographic studies with quality Doppler and color Doppler.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Conduct transesophageal echocardiograms as requested.
• Document findings and coordinate with the reading physician.
• Maintain equipment and infection control per protocol.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS for image storage.
