Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Echo Technologist in Fairfax, Virginia to support pediatric and adult echocardiography across NICU, PICU, and cardiac units.

The ideal candidate has ARDMS and BLS, 1 year pediatric experience, and is comfortable working 8-hour days (40 hours/week) during a 15-week assignment starting Oct 5, 2026.

This travel role includes on-site support, no on-call, and competitive stipends for housing and travel expenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year pediatric sonography experience.
• ARDMS certification and BLS required.
• License required if applicable; pediatric registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies across fetal, pediatric, and adult congenital cases.
• Assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement.
• Maintain equipment, document procedures, and communicate findings to cardiologists.
