Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Travel Echo Technologist for a 26-week assignment in Urbana, Illinois. The ideal candidate has 3+ years Echo Tech experience and RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification, an Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound, and current BLS.

You will work in the hospital echocardiography lab performing routine and complex imaging, assisting physicians, and using Epic EMR. Night shifts, 40 hours per week, with weekend rotation; start date Sep 7, 2026.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Echo Tech experience required
• RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification required
• Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Epic charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex echocardiographic imaging procedures
• Assist physicians and sonographers with echocardiographic exams
• Maintain quality and accuracy of imaging, documentation and data in patient records
• Operate within the echocardiography lab workflows and Epic EMR system
