Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel job in Rapid City, South Dakota. The position requires 1 year of echocardiography experience and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification with BLS.

You will operate cardiac ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for echocardiograms, and ensure image quality for physician interpretation, including Doppler and stress echo. This travel role includes 13 weeks of work with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Echo experience required.
• BLS certification required; ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification.
• State licensing if required.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and handle equipment.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Perform echocardiographic studies with quality Doppler and color Doppler.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms as needed.
• Report findings promptly to the reading physician.
