Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer for a contract in Northampton, Massachusetts. This 13‑week assignment offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and travel accommodations through a supportive staffing agency.

You will perform 2D echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies, provide preliminary interpretations, and assist physicians in non‑invasive cardiology trials. Successful completion of accredited cardiac technology and echocardiography programs is required, with

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform 2‑dimensional echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Read, interpret, apply, and follow physician orders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions.
