Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Echocardiographer with 2+ years of cardiac imaging experience and ARDMS/RDCS certification for a 13-week assignment.

Requirements include an Associate's degree or equivalent with radiologic technology training, AART and RDCS/RCS certifications, ARDMS cardiac echo certification, and current BLS. US hospital experience in this specialty is required and a live-within-50-miles condition applies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• AART certification required.
• RDCS/RCS required.
• ARDMS cardiac echo certification required.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only).
• Current State/District license required if applicable.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in basic and advanced cardiac imaging procedures required.
• Experience with Echocardiology US system and all transducers, including transesophageal, required.
• Arterial and/or vascular ultrasound experience required.
• Must have at least 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in this specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced cardiac imaging studies on inpatients and outpatients across neonatal through geriatric populations.
• Procedures performed in the lab, bedside, ICU, ED, and OR settings.
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:0 PM shifts.
• 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Responsible for clerical duties associated with cardiac imaging procedures.
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility.
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying most recent experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer.
