Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Berlin, Vermont. The role is 40 hours per week with 8-hour days, traveling to support non-invasive cardiology services.

The candidate must complete accredited training in cardiac technology and cardiac ultrasound, and graduate from a cardiac echocardiography program. Strong interpretation skills are required along with teamwork with physicians.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Graduate of a cardiac echocardiography technology program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler.
• Provide preliminary interpretation of studies.
• Maintain records for echo studies.
• Assist physicians with training of residents, fellows and faculty.
• Be knowledgeable about multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Read, interpret, and follow physicians' orders.
