Job summary

ALOIS Healthcare seeks a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Falmouth, MA. Expect 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, with rotating days, weekends, and holiday coverage. You will perform diagnostic echocardiograms, Doppler studies, GLS imaging, 3D echo, and TEE support, delivering high-quality imaging and accurate reports.

You will follow IAC standards, document findings, and maintain ongoing professional development while collaborating with cardiology teams on complex cases.

Qualifications

• RDCS or CCI certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review patients’ medical histories, physician notes, clinical indications, and previous cardiac imaging.
• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms and obtain high-quality cardiac images.
• Conduct Doppler studies to assess cardiac function, blood flow, valve disorders, and hemodynamics.
• Perform Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS) imaging.
• Identify abnormal findings and potential cardiac pathology.
• Administer ultrasound-enhancing contrast agents when required and authorized.
• Assist cardiologists with Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE).
• Perform advanced imaging, including 3D echocardiography.
• Document findings and prepare preliminary reports for physician interpretation.
• Complete exam and contrast billing documentation as applicable.
• Follow IAC echocardiography imaging standards.
• Maintain professional development and perform other assigned duties.
