Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric diagnostic echocardiograms.
• Conduct technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac examinations.
• Assist cardiologists with exam measurements, documentation, and diagnostic information.
• Monitor patients during examinations and report changes in their condition.
• Coordinate scheduling, patient transportation, recordkeeping, billing information, and exam documentation.
• Maintain equipment quality control, supplies, and room cleanliness.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement activities.
• Assist with other cardiac procedures as needed.
