Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied seeks a travel Echo Technician for a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, Virginia. You will perform vascular and echocardiography studies under supervision, contributing to comprehensive cardiac assessments.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or related field experience preferred and/or per state requirements
• One (1) year of experience as a Cardiovascular technician preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular and echocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients
• Analyzes digitized ECG tapes, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography
• Generates quantitative arrhythmia reports
