Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Echo Technician for a 13-week assignment in Saint Johns, Florida. You will perform 2‑D echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies under supervision, with 40 hours per week on day shifts.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform 2‑dimensional echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Maintain records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Familiarity with multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
