Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Wadesboro, NC is seeking a traveling Echo Tech for a Monday–Friday 8-hour day schedule (7:30 AM–4:00 PM) with no weekends, and possible holidays based on needs. You will perform adult echocardiograms in a larger health system.

Requirements include 1+ year Echo Tech experience, BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS, and a graduate of an accredited cardiac ultrasound program. EPIC/PACS and Philips EPIQ experience preferred, with strong independent work skills.

Qualifications

• Over 1 year of Echo Tech experience (first-time travelers welcome!)
• BLS certification required
• ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS accepted
• Graduate of accredited cardiac ultrasound program preferred
• Proficient in adult transthoracic echocardiography, contrast studies, doppler, and color flow imaging

Responsibilities

• Conduct 48 echocardiograms per day for adult inpatients, emergency, and outpatients
• Utilize EMR systems (EPIC) and ISCV PACS by Phillips; experience with Philips EPIQ ultrasound preferred
• Float as needed to nearby facilities, supporting a larger health system
• Participate in departmental and unit-specific orientation, including EPIC training and scanning competency assessment
• Assist with precepting new Echo Techs if needed
• Adhere to department dress code; free parking available
