Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wadesboro, NC. You will perform cardiac ultrasound exams, ensure image quality, and support physicians with timely interpretations. Expect 40 hours weekly, dayshift, and a tax-free stipend with travel compensation.

Requirements include 1 year of experience, ARDMS RDCS or CCI RS, BLS, and any state licensing as needed. The role emphasizes patient prep, procedural education, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of Echo Tech experience.
• ARDMS RDCS or CCI RS certification and BLS are required.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures performed.
• Demonstrate competence in echocardiographic studies with quality Doppler.
• Acquire quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms as requested by physicians.
• Maintain equipment and ensure patient records are accurate.
