Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lone Tree, Colorado. The role requires acute care echo experience, pediatric scanning proficiency, and certification in RDCS or RCS with ARDMS preferred.

The assignment features a 3x12 hour rotating shift, 36 hours per week, and on-site work in a 272-bed hospital, using GE E95 and Philips Epiq equipment. Start ASAP with potential on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in an acute care setting as an Echo Tech within the last 6 months.
• BLS required.
• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• ARDMS certification preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Must have pediatric experience and be able to complete basic scans on babies.
• Proficiency with TEEs and pediatric echocardiograms required.
• Prior Meditech experience preferred.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult echocardiograms (inpatient and outpatient) and pediatric scans.
• Operate GE E95 and Philips Epiq ultrasound systems.
• Document procedures accurately in Meditech/CCW EMR.
• Provide structured reporting on all procedures.
• Collaborate with a team of Cardiac Sonographers and physicians.

Details

• Works in the EKG/Cardio Pulmonary unit of a 272-bed hospital
• Team of 4 Cardiac Sonographers
• 4x10 hour day shifts with rotating on-call nights
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses GE E95 and Philips Epiq ultrasound equipment
• Documents in Meditech and CCW EMR systems
• On-call requirements include 2 nights per week including rotating weekends
• Performs adult echocardiograms (portable inpatient and outpatient), transesophageal echocardiograms, bubble studies, and Definity contrast studies

Pay Package

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
