Focus Staff is seeking a Travel Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) for a 13-week contract in St John's, FL. You will perform echocardiography, support advanced cardiovascular care, and enjoy travel to diverse clinical environments.

The ideal candidate holds a cardiac ultrasound credential with ARDMS or equivalent, current BLS, and 1–2 years of experience. This traveler-first role offers housing stipends and flexible scheduling within Focus Staff's supportive network.

Qualifications

• Cardiac ultrasound skills and image optimization required.
• National ARDMS or equivalent certification is expected where applicable.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1–2 years clinical sonography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography studies and related cardiac imaging.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to interpret results.
• Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety during exams.
• Travel to assigned locations as part of a temporary assignment.

Travel Echo Tech Requirements:

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program.
• Requires national certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent if applicable and license by the state regulatory agency if applicable
• Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire if applicable.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
• Proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist.
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
