Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a Travel Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to join our team in Peoria, IL. This contract assignment runs for 13 weeks, offering exposure to advanced cardiovascular care while you explore new locations and clinical environments.

Ideal candidates will have ARDMS certification, BLS, an accredited radiologic/ultrasound program, and 1–2 years of experience in echocardiography; licensure as required by state regulatory agencies will be pursued within 18 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program.
• National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent; state license if applicable.
• Advance certification in Cardiac/Vascular (RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent) within 18 months.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
• Proficiency in competencies of a Polysomnographic Technologist.
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Travel Echo Tech Requirements:
