Job summary

PeopleInc in Buffalo, NY is hiring Travel Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one support to people with developmental disabilities in homes and in the community. No previous experience required; paid training provided and a $20.00 hourly wage with a flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement.

As a Travel DSP, you will help clients build daily living skills, participate in community outings, provide caregiver relief, and support independence while traveling between locations.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable personal vehicle with insurance.
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for documentation.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Support people in building daily living skills.
• Assist with community outings and activities.
• Provide caregiver relief.
• Encourage independence and social engagement.
• Safely transport people to appointments and activities.
• Complete simple electronic documentation after each shift.
