Job summary

PeopleInc is seeking Travel Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one support to people with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community. This role offers flexible assignments and paid training, with mileage reimbursement and no previous experience required.

As a Travel DSP, you will help individuals build daily living skills, participate in community outings, provide caregiver relief, encourage independence and social engagement, and safely transport clients

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable personal vehicle with insurance
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for documentation
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional

Responsibilities

• Support people in building daily living skills
• Assist with community outings and activities
• Provide caregiver relief
• Encourage independence and social engagement
• Safely transport people to appointments and activities
• Complete simple electronic documentation after each shift
