Job summary

Pavilion Healthcare is seeking a Travel Director of Nursing (DON) to support our skilled nursing facilities in the Dayton and Columbus areas. This role travels between facilities to mentor and train the DONs and nursing staff, shaping nursing care across the group.

Ideal candidates will be an experienced DON with hands-on SNF/LTC leadership and a willingness to travel regularly to ensure consistent clinical operations across sites.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• Experience as DON in SNF/LTC required.
• Experience overseeing multiple facilities.
• Willingness to travel to Dayton and Columbus facilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly to facilities in the Dayton and Columbus areas to provide on-site leadership.
• Train, mentor, and develop facility Directors of Nursing (DONs) in clinical systems and regulatory compliance.
• Coach facility nursing staff—RNs, LPNs, CNAs—on standards of care and best practices.
• Oversee nursing operations across multiple facilities and drive consistency across sites.
