Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a Director of Nursing for a short-term travel assignment in Michigan’s Big Rapids area. This 13-week role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits while you lead and improve resident care with independence.

You will coordinate daily nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor clinical staff, and manage on-call clinical support. Michigan RN license and BLS are required; prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan RN license
• BLS certification
• Infection control/antibiotic stewardship experience
• Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily nursing operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the administrative team and staff to develop and implement policies that promote high-quality resident care.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to clinical staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical activities, audits, and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Execute on-call responsibilities, offering clinical support and decision-making assistance during off-hours.
