DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC seeks an experienced Shop / Traveling Diesel Mechanic for our Oklahoma City shop with frequent travel to job sites across OK, TX, LA, KS, and CO. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment, using advanced diagnostic tools and welding as needed.

The role requires self-sufficiency, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work in varying conditions.

Formación

• 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience, preferably on medium- or heavy-duty trucks.
• Strong hands-on diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, and emissions systems.
• Working knowledge of diesel aftertreatment and DEF systems.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Fabrication and welding experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel frequently across multiple states.
• Verifiable employment history and hands-on mechanical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to job sites to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks and related equipment.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, emissions, and aftertreatment systems.
• Use diagnostic scan tools, multimeters, and test equipment to identify issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and emergency repairs.
• Complete fabrication, welding, and cutting as needed.
• Maintain service truck organization, tools, parts inventory, and repair documentation.
• Communicate repair updates and equipment needs to management.
• Follow safety procedures and DOT regulations; work extended hours when needed.
